Currently, many businesses still face the challenge of losing their phone number when they migrate over to VoIP. With DialogicR Integrated Media Gateway 1010 (Any to Any), a VoIP provider is able to connect to telcos' SS7 networks and offer a number portability feature.
In a 1U form factor, Dialogic IMG1010 can support up to 24-E1 ISUP to SIP conversions. For large enterprises, IMG1010 can also be used for E1 ISDN to SIP or even SIP/TCP to SIP/UDP conversions.
The IMG 1010 feature set includes full DS3 capacity and SS7 signalling/termination. In addition, the IMG 1010’s compact, high-density 1U package is claimed to be more cost effective and easier to manage than offerings that require multiple boxes and increased operating expenses.
