Zultys has released Version 5.0 software for its MX250 and MX30 Enterprise Media eXchange products. Version 5.0 provides added features for contact centre managers and companies supporting teleworkers and remote offices. Zultys Release Version 5.0 eliminates the need for licences for SIP trunk support in a continuous effort to simplify customers’ access to the latest technologies.

Enhancements include: an advanced call handling feature provided by MXIE, the Zultys personal unified communications client which allows the IP-PBX system to locate a user at up to 16 different contact points, including mobile and home phones; MXconnect that enables the user to make any phone number (eg, your home or mobile phone) an extension of your office; and updated MXIE Presence Notes.

Other features that are claimed to improve productivity for contact centres include ScreenDial, Call Attached Data, Call Recording from Any Phone and Call Detail Record Archiving.

Network and phone changes encompass the following: session border controller and port mapping, ZIP 5-series SIP phone enhancements, ZIP 5-series silent monitoring and real-time SIP call monitor/packet capture.
