VoIP phone with colour TFT display

Snom, a manufacturer of enterprise VoIP phones, has released the first model in its ‘8 Series’ — the Snom-820.

The 820 extends Snom’s mature VoIP technology, adding a number of new features to the existing functionality of the ‘3 Series’ phones:

  • Large 3.5” TFT colour display;
  • 5-way audio conferencing;
  • Wi-Fi network access;
  • Wideband audio technology;
  • Class D amplifier ensures clear speakerphone audio;
  • On-screen call lists, phone directories, caller information via integrated XML browser.

It supports up to 12 concurrent calls, 12 SIP identities, multiple ringtones, dual 10/100 ethernet ports, Power over Ethernet, headset connection, intuitive on-screen menu structure, and a host of other features. HTTPS, VPN, VLAN, TLS and SRTP support ensures rock solid security.

The VoIP phone’s modern styling is visually striking and designed to ensure that the colour screen, LEDs and all phone keys are visible from any viewing angle, with the phone controls easy to operate.

Snom now include a free, fully functional Flexor CTI for MS Outlook S/W licence with Snom-820 phones. Click-to-dial within Outlook, on-screen call control, contact screen pop-ups and call reporting.
