InfraStruxure scalable and adaptable data centre architecture is claimed to reduce cycle time and complexity from concept to design to installation. It integrates power, cooling, racks, security and management in a modular form factor that optimises power, cooling and floor space within an integrated energy management system and is claimed to deliver a 25% increase in power and cooling capacity and a 15% smaller footprint.

Its management software provides an open, vendor-neutral management platform for data centre physical infrastructure, helping users optimise availability by balancing safety margins and risk tolerance to conserve energy and cut costs. With full integration capabilities to enterprise and building management systems, the management software provides a core platform to monitor and manage data centre assets.

Other features include: Symmetra PX 96 kW double-conversion uninterruptible power supply with internal modular design for easy scaling (in 16 kW increments up to 160 kW) and reconfiguring without downtime; modular power distribution unit simplifies the installation and reconfiguration of IT devices, reducing planned downtime and eliminating the need for new circuit work orders to add IT equipment; InRow OA and refrigerant distribution unit providing overhead cooling for medium- and high-density applications for users preferring waterless cooling options; NetShelter SX networking enclosures optimise rack systems for high-density environments.
