VMR series outlet metered power distribution units (PDUs) are designed to monitor the power consumption of individual devices on a network and provide secure, remote power control and reboot capabilities.

With dual 20 A input power buses, the units are suitable for managing server farm equipment that requires power supply redundancy. Each input power bus supplies four or eight individually switched IEC C13 outlets to power up to 16 servers.

Advanced metering capabilities allow the VMR series to measure and report kilowatt hours, amps, voltage and temperature. When any of these factors exceed threshold values, an alarm notification can be sent or the VMR unit can automatically break or reboot the power. Reboots and power shutdowns can also occur when an attached device ceases responding to ping commands or can be performed under remote control, or according to a user-defined schedule.
