Standards Australia launches digital transformation program
Standards Australia has commenced a digital transformation program aimed at helping the body support growth in Australia’s economy.
The organisation’s board has approved a strategy involving establishing a central and searchable digital content repository built on a best-in-class technology platform.
Under the first stage of the program, Standards Australia plans to establish the repository, streamline multiple standardisation workflows and also connect content development to digital curation.
Later stages will involve giving the agency the flexibility to move to different collaboration and distribution models.
“Our goal in this work has been to ensure the viability, strength and capacity of Standards Australia as a contributor to Australia’s economic future,” Standards Australia CEO Dr Bronwyn Evans said.
“By leveraging our international relationships, member insights, and by looking outside of the standards publishing world, we have a plan that will set us up to be the digital standards body Australia needs tomorrow.”
