NTACT adopts digital case file solution
The Northern Territory Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NTCAT) has implemented Tyler Technologies’ Odyssey Care Manager digital case file and court automation solution.
The completed implementation represents the first milestone in the NT Department of the Attorney General and Justice’s (NTAGD) multiyear digital transformation initiative.
NTCAT has gone live with Odyssey Care Manager after a nine-month implementation process. The solution will be used to manage all NTCAT jurisdictions.
US-based Tyler Technologies relocated experts from the US to assist Tyler Technologies Australia in the implementation process, and technology services for the project were provided by NEC Australia.
Tyler also plans to implement eLodgment for the department in March next year, and then fully deploy the system for the territory’s Local and Supreme Courts in 2019.
“The Northern Territory is leading Australia in the adoption of advanced court technology, and the implementation of Odyssey Case Manager is only the first step in a long-term partnership with the territory,” commented Mitchell Spence, senior vice president of operations for Tyler’s Courts & Justice Division.
“This project represents the first off-the-shelf case manager implementation in Australia in nearly a decade, and our strong partnership with the NTAGD helped ensure a rapid, on-budget and successful go-live.”
