Therefore 2015, Canon’s upgraded information management solution, features a new business analytics tool and customisable access options to streamline workflows and business processes.

The Therefore Business Analytics tool is designed to improve how information is managed and allows administrators to receive automatically generated real-time reports to assess the efficiency of their company’s workflow. The product also includes the Therefore Portal to allow businesses to confidently and securely share information with users outside their organisation through unlimited, read-only portal access.

The updated and enhanced full-text search engine provides users with a variety of search options to locate documents. Searches can be performed based on relevance, hit count or date modified, while results can be filtered to identify OCR errors that may need to be handled as exceptions. A multilingual thesaurus is also available, allowing search results to automatically include words from multiple languages, providing a time-saver for international or multilingual companies.

The product also offers a Case Management feature to automatically create project cases from an existing database. This upgrade provides various possibilities to streamline workflow, including the ability to move documents to new cases, automate tasks and start a sub-workflow within a pre-existing project.

The Therefore Mobile App for Android, iOS and select Windows mobile platforms has also been updated to support data generated by the Business Analytics feature.
