Panasonic Australia CF-H2 Field Toughbook tablet

Panasonic Australia’s ruggedised Toughbook, the CF-H2 Field, is powered by a second-generation Intel Core i5-2557M vPro processor (1.7 GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.7 GHz). It has USB, serial and ethernet ports, and a TransflectivePlus screen, suitable for varying lighting conditions.

It features an increased RAM and hard drive capacity with 4 GB RAM (expandable to 8 GB) and a 320 GB hard disk drive, with an optional 128 GB solid state drive available.

IP65 and MIL-STD-810G certified, it has a full magnesium alloy chassis, can survive a drop of up to 1.8 m and has a sealed all-weather design. It is certified for in-vehicle use.

Dual hot-swappable batteries deliver 6.5 h of battery life (with both batteries) and the desktop cradle has been upgraded to improve charge time.

Weighing 1.58 kg, it has been ergonomically designed with a balanced centre of gravity, integrated handle and lack of hotspots. The 10.1″ dual-touch XGA display offers digitiser and touch-screen functionality and features a circular polariser, anti-glare and anti-reflective screen treatments, with up to 6000 nit of transflective brightness to make the screen viewable in direct sunlight.

It supports several embedded wireless technologies, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and multiple security features, including options for a fingerprint reader and a contactless or insertable smartcard reader.

Optional integrated features include barcode and RFID readers, camera and GPS. Accessories include carry cases, shoulder straps, power adapters, charging cradles and a Toughbook-certified vehicle dock.

It comes with Windows 7 Professional.
