Tandberg Data StorageLoader series tape library with LTO-5

The StorageLoader series tape library with LTO-5 enables automated backup and archiving with capacities from 24 TB in a compact 1U footprint. Designed for SMBs, it shortens backup windows, simplifies storage management and reduces backup and archiving costs.

Offering cost benefits over disk technology due to its higher capacity, smaller footprint and lower power and cooling needs, the entry-level autoloader offers eight slots and up to 24 TB of compressed storage.

The LTO-5 tape media features the security of write once, read many and hardware-based 256-bit encryption. It is also compatible with FIPS level-2 certification.

The tape drive offers backward-write compatibility for one generation and backward-read compatibility for two generations. Its tape can store nearly twice as much data as LTO-4 tape drives.
