Western Digital WD Blue and WD Green solid-state drives provide a full portfolio of WD storage devices for virtually any application.

Both products have near-maximum speed of SATA drives, best-in-class endurance and MTTF and WD functional integrity testing lab certification, resulting in quick boot times and increased program responsiveness.

Users benefit from the combination of reliable storage with 1.75m hours MTTF, coupled with reduced power and less heat when compared to HDDs. Both drives include free, downloadable, WD SSD dashboard software, which allows continuous performance and capacity monitoring.

The WD Blue is optimised for multitasking and resource-heavy applications. Suitable for a notebook or desktop PC, the product is available in 250 GB, 500 GB and 1 TB capacities. It has a 2.5″/7 mm form factor. The product offers up to 545 MBps and 525 MBps sequential read and write speeds, and endurance up to 400 TBW.

The WD Green is available in a 2.5″/7 mm form factor at 120 GB and 240 GB capacities. The product delivers an ultralow power-draw, enabling PC users to work longer between battery charges. The product features sequential read and write times of up to 540 MBps and 405 MBps and endurance up to 80 TBW.
