The D-Link ANZ DWR-921 4G LTE router provides quality internet connectivity in locations where fixed-line broadband services such as ADSL or cable are not available. The router is suitable for areas where fixed-line broadband is either not available or is slow, or where an easy-to-set-up, portable mobile hot-spot solution is required. Areas could include outdoor events, construction sites and trade shows.

The product can offer users potential speeds of up to 150 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload. It could be used as a backup for homes or businesses in the case that their primary internet connection goes down.

The product enables users to access and share their 4G LTE or 3G mobile broadband connections. Once connected, they can transfer data, stream media and send SMS messages. Users simply insert a SIM/USIM card and share the 4G LTE or 3G internet connection through a secure wireless network or any of the four Ethernet ports.

The router uses dual-active firewalls (SPI and NAT) to prevent potential unwanted intrusions, while WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption keeps wireless networks secure and traffic safe. If users are out of 4G LTE range, the router will automatically fall back to an available 3G connection. Users can also configure the product to accept a fixed-line service via its Ethernet WAN port. When a break in service is detected, the router will automatically fall over to the mobile network to provide continuous internet access.
