HP Spectre ultrathin laptop

HP has announced the debut of the HP Spectre, which the company claims is the world’s thinnest laptop.

The CNC-machined aluminium chassis is as thin as a AAA battery at 10.4 mm and weighs only 1.11 kg. It comes with a hidden piston hinge, which creates the illusion of a hingeless design to offer a different look.

A Full HD IPS 13.3″ edge-to-edge display featuring Corning Gorilla provides a high-quality viewing experience for editing photos, perfecting a presentation or watching a movie. The laptop is powered by 6th generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors and a fast PCIe SSD with storage up to 512 GB and up to 8 GB of memory for maximum performance. Integration of Intel hyperbaric cooling system helps keep the machine running cool.

The product comes with stereo speakers by Bang & Olufsen with HP Audio Boost technology, and three USB Type-CTM connectors (two of which support Thunderbolt), to provide a fast, versatile I/O connection. A hybrid battery, split into two thinner pieces, delivers the same wattage as a single battery for up to 9.5 h.
