Toshiba Portégé laptop series

Toshiba has launched the Portégé range of mobile computing and desktop replacement devices, offering productivity and mobility for enterprise and SMEs who require portable, high-performance devices.

Powered by 6th Generation Intel Core processors, the Portégé Z20T is a 12.5″ Full HD detachable 2-in-1 Ultrabook, while the Portégé Z30(t) model is a 13.3″ FHD Ultrabook with Corning ConCore Glass that offers antiglare and antifingerprint coating for clarity. Containing a USB Type-C reversible connector, the Z20T enables download speeds six times faster than the previous micro USB ports while offering an extended battery life up to 19 h in Ultrabook mode and 11.5 h in tablet mode.

Both models feature a durable, lightweight structure to ensure the devices stand up to the rigours of daily business use; advanced connectivity capabilities, including two and three USB 3.0 slots, respectively; HDMI, Intel 802.11 ac a/g/n Wi-Fi; and a 2 MP FHD webcam for clear business web conferencing and multimedia experiences.

By comparison, the stylish R30 has been redesigned to be 27% thinner than previous models and is complete with full docking capabilities. Combining a 6th Generation Intel Core i5/i7 dual processor, the 13.3″ device is suitable for businesses with a robust mobile workforce who need access to advanced security features, essential ports and a variety of storage options to improve productivity on the move. It comes with a day battery life of up to 13 h of unplugged freedom via its removable, four-cell lithium-ion battery.
