CA ARCserve D2D for Linux

CA ARCserve D2D for Linux provides data protection and disaster recovery for businesses running virtual and physical servers on the Linux open source platform.

The image-based solution helps organisations protect the integrity and availability of critical systems, applications and data. The solution’s recovery options reduce business downtime and support recovery time objectives. In addition, built-in data security supports diverse compliance requirements.

ARCserve data compression reduces backup-related storage requirements and costs. Unattended bare-metal recovery enables systems to be restored to similar or dissimilar physical or virtual servers - giving customers flexibility when it comes to recovery infrastructure. Granular recovery allows individual file restoration from any recovery point image.

Users access the solution through a Web 2.0 console that enables automated agent installation, as well as centralised management, configuration and reporting of all protected Linux servers.

The solution supports Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.x and 6.x, as well as CentOS 5.x and 6.x.
