EnGenius ECB-9500 gigabit wireless-N multifunctional client bridge/access point

The EnGenius ECB-9500 gigabit wireless-N multifunctional client bridge/access point is an 11N wireless device with seven operation modes - access point/client bridge/universal repeater/router/client router/WDS. It is designed to operate in different kinds of business environments and is suitable for enterprise environments and high-throughput and high-distance wireless applications.

It is claimed to provide up to 6x faster speeds and 7x extended coverage than 802.11g devices. High speed up to 300 Mbps provides a network with good throughput, performance and wireless range. Its WPS function helps users to connect to wireless devices simply with a one-push button.

Its gigabit ethernet port optimised for up to 10x faster data transfer than fast ethernet is suitable for large data streaming. Multiple SSID function (4 SSID in AP mode) allows different levels of network access through a single access point. Its RSSI indicator also allows users to select the best signals to connect with AP easily.

To protect wireless data transmissions, the device encrypts all wireless through WPA2/WPA/WEP wireless encryption. It also supports IEEE 802.1x supplicant function in client bridge mode. Its MAC address filter allows users to select stations with access to the wireless network. In addition, user isolation function protects the private network between client users.
