Polycom-compatible Sennheiser wireless headsets
Sennheiser Communications has announced the full compatibility of its wireless DW series and wired SH and CC series headsets with Polycom’s SoundPoint and Business Media Phones.
The full compatibility and interoperability of Sennheiser headsets and Polycom phones is allowed by the electronic hook switch (EHS). This enables remote operations of the company’s wireless DW series headsets with various Polycom SoundPoint and business media phones.
Users can hear ring tones as well as answer/end calls while being away from their desk and can handle other remote key functions such as adjusting the volume and muting the headset.
