Fujitsu LIFEBOOK E5 and E7 notebook series

Fujitsu has released refreshed models in the Advanced Line of its LIFEBOOK notebook series, designed to be compatible with mobile devices. Enterprises can easily roll out upgrades with the series as family models use common mainboard, BIOS, drivers and bit image.

The E7 series comprises three models (13.3, 14.0, 15.6″), each incorporating the 6th Generation Intel Core processor family and DDR4 memory. The use of 6-cell (77 Wh) primary battery enables runtime of up to 14 h, extended to a total of 19 h with an optional second battery.

The E5 series consists of two models (14.0 and 15.6″), also with the 6th Generation Intel Core processor family, DDR4 memory and 6-cell (72 Wh) battery option.

Other upgrade options for the modular bay includes swappable components such as a second battery, Blu-ray drive (E7 only), a second hard disk drive and a DVD Super Multi drive.
