Sony MP-CL1 portable mobile projector

The Sony MP-CL1 is a portable mobile projector that uses a laser light source to deliver HD resolution images (1920x720) with high contrast (80,000:1) for accurate colour rendition. Featuring a built-in speaker, the product is suitable for both home and mobile entertainment, business presentations, as well as for the display of content from smartphones or tablets.

The handheld projector is pocket-sized and can display a screen size of up to 120″ at a distance of 3.45 m. Despite its diminutive size, the device can connect to a source via HDMI, as well as interface with digital devices via MHL. Its built-in Screen Mirroring function also allows users to wirelessly mirror content from digital devices or a PC via Wi-Fi.

Using Sony’s Laser Beam Scanning technology, this processing system allows the product to project images at HD resolution and enables focus-free projection as well as seamless viewing, even on uneven surfaces. The auto-focus function enables the projector to keep constant focus at various distances, while the manual Key Stone Correction maintains screen uniformity, both vertically and horizontally, despite angled surfaces.

The device also features a built-in 3400 mAh battery that allows up to 120 min of HD resolution playback and includes an HDMI to Mini-HDMI adapter, Micro-USB cable and a detachable two-way stand.
