ACT passes 20K milestone in Chromebook program
The ACT Government has delivered over 20,000 Chromebooks to Canberra students in a bid to provide equal learning opportunities and set them up for an increasingly digital future.
Now in its third year, the Chromebook program aims to ensure all public school students in Years 7 to 12 have access to a device, allowing them to meet Australian Curriculum objectives including developing data analysis, problem-solving and communication capabilities.
“Having access to a device provides a great opportunity for students to expand their learning journey and I have seen some great examples of the use of devices to enhance classroom activities in ACT public schools,” ACT Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Yvette Berry said.
