iAwards nominations now open
Innovation is now on the top of the national agenda, as evidenced by the recent $1 billion ministerial innovation vision, designed to give the digital eco system the opportunity to re-energise itself.
The iAwards is the only international technology awards program in Australia, and gives technology players across diverse industries the chance to help shape Australia as a world innovation leader.
Hosted by the AIIA, the iAwards encourages nominations from corporate, research, academia, students, government and start-ups, as well as joint nominations.
The categories include consumer, community services, industrial and primary industries, business services, public sector and government, as well as student nominations.
This year, for the first time, a substantial benefits program has been developed for nominees, including support during the nominations phase, visibility to high-profile judges, the opportunity to test an innovation against best practice, networking opportunities within the industry, and access to industry reports from KPMG and Grant Thornton.
The iAwards offer applicants brand awareness within the industry, while winners and merit recipients may be selected to compete with businesses from across the Asia Pacific region at the APICTA Awards (Asia Pacific ICT Awards), further increasing networking and profiling opportunities.
Applications close on 31 March 2016.
