ABC Education extends TV broadcasting schedule

ABC Education has extended its TV broadcasting to assist Victorian teachers and parents facilitating learning from home.

Programming on ABC ME now includes an additional 30 minutes of Foundation/Kindergarten level English, maths, art and science content from 9:30 am each day. The schedule also incorporates content for all class levels across the full gamut of subjects including history, geography, civics and citizenship, current affairs, and design and tech, along with mainstays like English, maths and science. The complete extended schedule for 10 August to 25 September can be found here.

In addition, ME TV has curated an entertaining line-up of programs that incorporate science, maths, history and personal development learning. There are plenty of Teaching Resources available that align with programming and will assist lesson planning. Aside from the ABC ME daily programming, iView hosts an enhanced collection of education content available for viewing at any time.
