Design Thinking 2016 coming to Sydney

In the last few years, the term ‘design thinking’ has gained popularity across a number of sectors and is now seen as an exciting new paradigm that allows companies to make themselves relevant in a world that is constantly changing.

Big players such as IBM, Telstra, SAP, Salesforce and IAG are adopting and rolling out design thinking principles across their businesses. Why? Because companies that lead by design always out perform their competitors with a business model that is resilient and agile.

The question of what it takes to build and roll out design thinking — as well as how companies can leverage design thinking for success — will be explored at the upcoming industry conference this June.

Design Thinking 2016 will take place 27–29 June at the Novotel Sydney Central in Sydney and will feature speakers from the public and private sector including:

  • Cecilia Hill, Head of Design Practice, Telstra
  • Pete Healy, Human Centred Design and innovation, IAG
  • Miguel Lunaparra, Senior Director, Global Design, Visa (USA)
  • Damian Tobin, Director, Engagement, Business Solutions Centre, Department of Human Services
  • Robin Beers, Wholesale Internet Services. Customer Experience Insights, Senior Vice President, Wells Fargo (USA)
