La Trobe signs SaaS deal with TechnologyOne
La Trobe University has signed a SaaS partnership contract with TechnologyOne for a student management system.
Building on a partnership that started in 2006, the contract involves La Trobe University moving from an on-premise environment to the TechnologyOne SaaS solution.
The solution will provide students and staff with increased functionality on all platforms including smartphones.
“The partnership with TechnologyOne is a significant component within our ‘Future Ready’ Strategic Plan, which will see the university become faster moving, more engaging and ensure everything we produce is of the highest quality,” said La Trobe Executive Director and Chief Information Officer Peter Nikoletatos.
“At the core of our strategy is the need to fully transform our student experience by providing anywhere, anytime, any device capability; seamless real-time integration; and flexibility in academic program management,” Nikoletatos added.
La Trobe University will become the first university in Australia to have its student management system on a true SaaS platform.
