Vocus deals with Optus and Telstra
Vocus Communications has renewed agreements with both Optus and Telstra in three-year deals that will see services supplied to key Vocus retail brands — Commander, Dodo and iPrimus — until 30 June 2019.
Optus announced its three-year mobile agreement will extend the formal term of agreements for the supply of wholesale mobile voice and mobile broadband services to Vocus’s key brands from July this year to the end of June 2019.
Optus said the 36-month agreement extends an 11-year relationship with M2 Group Limited, which merged with Vocus in February this year.
With Telstra, the new arrangements replace the existing arrangements with Telstra due to expire in June this year, to supply fixed voice and broadband services to Commander, Dodo and iPrimus.
Optus Wholesale Managing Director Rob Parcell said the deal was a terrific win for Optus Wholesale.
“It’s a rejuvenation of our relationship and we are looking forward to further evolving and developing our relationship with Vocus,” said Parcell.
“We have consistently invested in our network, with more than $1 billion annually over the past 10 years. It is through these investments we are delivering coverage depth and breadth across metropolitan and regional locations nationally, particularly in the mobile space.”
