A new app has been developed by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) and Australian Taxation Office (ATO), designed to help entrepreneurs starting up their own business.
The First Business app provides checklists, tips, case studies and links to information to guide users through starting and running their own business.
The app includes:
- a business health check to help users work out if they are ready to start and run a business;
- a ‘starting your business’ checklist to assist users with organizing what is required when starting a business;
- case studies for examples of things that can go wrong in business and how to avoid them;
- a networking section that provides tips and ideas to develop business networks.
Download the First Business app on the App Store and Google Play.
