Atlassian recruitment drive launches: hiring 1032 new staff
Atlassian co-founder Scott Farquhar will today announce the launch of Atlassian’s new — and very literal — recruitment drive to hire 1032 R&D employees across Australia.
Having initially announced that the company would be hiring Australians at last month’s Jobs and Skills Summit, Atlassian is setting off on a road trip to showcase the company’s opportunities.
Until 2:00 pm today, an Atlassian-branded RV (nicknamed the AtlassiVan) will be stationed at Sydney’s Martin Place (between Pitt Street and Castlereagh Street) with Atlassian’s recruitment team discussing Australia’s remarkable tech opportunity and Atlassian’s work from anywhere policy (Team Anywhere) with Sydney locals who may want to realise a dream in tech without having to relocate.
As the world’s fastest-growing industry, technology is continuing to gain momentum here in Australia. Starting in Sydney, the branded AtlassiVan will make its way to key locations in the country where emerging technology talent has been identified, including Canberra, Wollongong, Melbourne, Adelaide, Newcastle, Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.
