Cloudera unveils new observability offerings
Data lake software company Cloudera has unveiled new observability capabilities for on-premise and public cloud data centres. The new premium tier features of the Cloudera Observability platform include Cloudera Observability Premium On-Premises, a solution for enabling customers with highly secure networks to run observability entirely within their own data centres.
Meanwhile, Cloudera Observability Premium for Public Cloud Data Hub offers capabilities for public cloud users including real-time monitoring, financial governance and automated actions.
Other features of the solutions include real-time monitoring for data hub clusters, jobs and queries, financial governance and capacity forecasting, workload views, the ability to set up alerts, and data observability with hot and cold table analysis.
Cloudera Regional VP for ANZ Keir Garrett said the new solutions can help Australian enterprises manage surging data volumes and costs as they pursue digital transformation.
“Businesses especially are seeking observability solutions to optimise their visibility and insights across their most sensitive data estates in real time and at speed and scale,” she said. “These high-value capabilities make administration of the platform easy and automated for our customers, helping them improve total cost of ownership, accelerate time to value and achieve their business outcomes faster.”
