LaunchVic launches tenth funding round
Victorian start-up agency LaunchVic has opened applications for its tenth grant funding round, and will invest up to $250,000 for each selected initiative designed to support the state’s start-up ecosystem.
The agency is encouraging applications seeking funding for meet-ups, events, hackathons, educational courses, mentoring, bootcamps, incubator programs, accelerator programs.
There is no specific focus for the current grant round, but applications should align with LaunchVic’s dual-pronged strategy of engaging and growing the Victorian start-up community, while positioning the state as an internationally recognised start-up ecosystem.
Programs must also support focus on one or more of LaunchVic’s strategic focus area streams — diversity and inclusion; capability and excellence; leveraging key strengths; and channel development.
LaunchVic will hold an in-person information session for the funding round on 19 February and an online application on 28 February, and initial applications close on 21 March.
Shortlisted applicants will take part in a pitching session on 7 May, before the successful recipients are announced in June.
