New search engine enters fray

Monday, 12 January, 2009

A new search engine has entered into the already crowded web search market, claiming to have several features to differentiate it from existing search engines.

MelZoo.com’s hook is its unusual interface. Once a search is made, results are listed on the left side of a user’s screen. When a user hovers their mouse cursor over an entry in the list, that website is then displayed on the right side of the screen.

According to MelZoo.com’s founders, this speeds internet search as users never have to leave the search engine to view one of the results.

The engine is located at MelZoo.com.
