Officeworks partners with RELEX to improve supply chain
Officeworks is set to partner with supply chain and retail planning solution provider RELEX Solutions to improve demand forecasting and replenishment processes. The RELEX solution will service Officeworks’ 166 stores and seven distribution centres throughout Australia, driving improvements to planning across its supply chain.
RELEX will provide the office products retailer with improved shelf availability and a reduction in inventory for a more efficient assortment. An automated, AI-driven solution enables Officeworks to optimise inventory, streamline complex inventory processes, and reduce complications when managing inventory with long lead times. RELEX demonstrated the ability to provide an easy-to-use solution to reduce working capital and minimise operational costs.
“At Officeworks, we continue to invest in our business so we can better meet our customers’ needs now and into the future. We are excited to partner with RELEX to implement a new end-to-end inventory planning tool as part of our demand and replenishment transformation project,” said Sarah Hunter, Managing Director at Officeworks.
“With a solution purpose-built for retailers like us, we’re confident that RELEX will help us improve our forecasting and replenishment, as well as drive efficiencies in our merchandise planning, customer delivery times and supply chain operations to support the long-term growth of our business.”
