Online tech store tops NSW complaints list
NSW Fair Trading’s latest monthly Complaints Register, covering February 2018, has been released, with 27 companies highlighted after receiving a total of 495 consumer complaints.
“The register lists the traders that are the subject of 10 or more complaints to Fair Trading in a single calendar month — and this is the second-biggest register we have ever published,” said the Minister for Better Regulation Matt Kean.
Top of the list on the February register was online tech and gadget store Android Enjoyed, with 45 complaints.
Rounding out the top five were Harvey Norman, Samsung Electronics, Kogan and Apple.
“Our register gives consumers the information they need to make the best possible decision about where to spend their hard-earned cash,” Kean said.
“At the same time, the register sends a strong message to businesses to pull up their socks and do better by their customers.”
