Teradata appoints new ANZ MD
Teradata has announced the appointment of Corrine Murphy to the role of Vice President and Managing Director for ANZ. Leading operations across the two markets, Murphy will be responsible for accelerating the company’s market-leading cloud and data capabilities in the region, overseeing Teradata’s local sales, marketing, channel, customer success and operations. Murphy succeeds Noel Pettitt, who is stepping down from his position.
Joining Teradata from Civica, where she served as Director of Centralised Services for two years, Murphy’s career spans more than 20 years working in Sydney, Singapore and Europe. She has served as COO for both Unisys and Deutsche Bank and has also held positions with CSC and IBM.
"I am thrilled to welcome someone of Corrine’s talent to further expand the impact we are having on the ANZ business landscape,” said Keith Budge, Executive VP, APC and Japan at Teradata.
“Our transformation to cloud-first is accelerating, and Corrine’s comprehensive knowledge and experience will help navigate new and exciting opportunities for Teradata as the connected multicloud data platform for enterprise analytics.
“On behalf of the entire Teradata team, I want to express sincere gratitude for everything Noel has contributed during his years with the company. We appreciate his support in facilitating a seamless transition as he passes on the baton and wish Noel all the very best in his next chapter,” he said.
