Weber to head up HPE South Pacific
Christian Weber will take the reins as VP and MD of Hewlett Packard Enterprise South Pacific as of 1 February.
With over 25 years’ experience in the IT industry, most recently as Director of Cloud Services for HPE South Pacific, Weber aims to accelerate the organisation’s edge-to-cloud-platform-as-a-service vision. He will report to Narinder Kapoor, HPE Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific.
“Christian brings the right energy, experience, and determination to push the company into exciting, bold directions. We are delighted to see Christian move into this new role and are confident he will have a positive impact on our business, partners and customers across Australia and New Zealand,” Kapoor said.
Weber brings a passion for employee empowerment and development to the role and looks forward to continuing his tenure at HPE.
“I could not be more excited and honoured to continue my journey with HPE as Vice President and Managing Director for South Pacific. Our company is well-positioned to meet the opportunities and challenges that lay ahead in our industry, and I feel privileged to be appointed to this role working with a group of outstanding colleagues,” he said.
