CrowdStrike and Nord Security to bolster SMB defences

CrowdStrike has announced it is partnering with Nord Security to provide joint cybersecurity solutions for SMBs worldwide.

Under the agreement, the companies will combine CrowdStrike’s AI-native Falcon platform with Nord Security’s secure access and credential management solutions to provide enterprise-grade protection on an SMB budget. Nord Security will offer CrowdStrike’s SMB-focused Falcon Go and Falcon Enterprise directly through its NordLayer network security platform.

Meanwhile CrowdStrike, Nord Security and Pax8 will launch an add-on for the Falcon Next-Gen Security Information Event Management platform that will integrate Nord Security’s secure access and network solutions. Qualifying customers will be provided with 90 days of free access.

CrowdStrike’s State of SMB Cybersecurity Survey found that just 36% of SMBs are investing in new security tools, and only 11% have adopted AI-powered defences. SMBs are also increasingly being targeted by enterprise-level attacks.

Nord Security Chief Business Development Officer Mantas Ulozas said in this environment, businesses are facing the challenge of attack surfaces expanding faster than their ability to secure them.

“By combining our secure access and credential management solutions with CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform, we’re removing barriers of cost and complexity that have long limited SMBs’ access to enterprise-grade protection — giving them the visibility and confidence to defend against modern threats,” he said.

CrowdStrike Chief Business Officer Daniel Bernard added that the partnership has the potential to transform how SMBs secure their business.

“Together with Nord Security, we’re redefining cybersecurity for SMBs — combining the power of the Falcon platform with Nord’s SMB go-to-market prowess and secure access technology to deliver enterprise-grade protection that’s fast to deploy, simple to manage, and built to stop breaches,” he said.
