Rubrik teams with Cisco to enhance data security

Zero trust data security company Rubrik has announced that it has teamed up with Cisco to enhance joint customers’ cyber resilience.

Under the agreement, Rubrik will join Cisco’s SolutionsPlus program, which will see all Rubrik’s products added to Cisco’s Global Price List. This will allow Cisco’s direct and channel sales network to offer the Rubrik Security Cloud.

Rubrik has also integrated with the Cisco XDR (Extended Detection and Response) platform, which will make it easier for enterprises to quickly identify targeted attacks on data. The integration will help customers combine threat intelligence and data context to prioritise and respond to threats targeting critical data.

Rubrik VP for Global Channels, Alliances and Inside Sales Ghazal Asif Farhadi said the collaboration will benefit joint customers.

“Across edge, public and private cloud environments, our joint customers now have a validated architecture to mitigate ransomware and ensure business continuity with agility and orchestration resources,” she said. “Together, Rubrik and Cisco aim to deliver unified computing and zero trust data security, while ensuring data resilience against cyber attacks, malicious insiders and operational disruptions — all with a seamless purchasing experience from a single source.”

Rubrik Security Cloud on Cisco UCS is tested and pre-engineered with Cisco Validated Designs to allow for automated deployment and life cycle management through the Cisco Intersight tool.
