Sectigo enters quantum security management space

Digital certificates and automated certificate lifecycle management provider Sectigo has entered the quantum security posture management arena with Sectigo Quantum Ready.

The solution is designed to help enterprises discover and map cryptographic assets and dependencies, assess post-quantum cryptography risk exposure and prioritise spectrum migration planning.

Sectigo said the tool aims to provide organisations with an action path towards achieving quantum continuous readiness, while meeting demands from governments, standard bodies and major technology providers to accelerate post-quantum cryptography migration.

Enterprises can use the platform to create a cryptographic bill of materials that lays out where cryptography exists, what systems and services depend on it, and where quantum exposure may create risk. This exposure is then evaluated based on criticality, data sensitivity, dependencies and migration complexity to help organisations prioritise their migration efforts.

Sectigo Chief Product Officer Ian Hassard said the IT industry is rapidly moving towards the operational challenge of managing post‍-‍quantum cryptography readiness at enterprise scale.
