Sophos integrates its threat intelligence platform with Copilot
Security company Sophos has launched into general availability integrations that connect the company’s Intelix cyberthreat intelligence repository with Microsoft Security Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
The integrations will provide organisations of all sizes with free, real-time access to Sophos threat intelligence within Microsoft’s AI environments.
Sophos said it processes more than 223 terabytes of telemetry daily via its Sophos Central platform, generating over 34 million detections and blocking more than 11 million threats. The integration with Microsoft Security Copilot promises to allow security analysts and IT teams to more rapidly triage incidents, investigate indictors of compromise and access global insights and prevalence data.
Sophos Intelix will also be made available in Microsoft’s recently launched Security Store for third-party agents, service providers and APIs.
Meanwhile Sophos said the integration with Microsoft 365 Copilot will enable IT admins, risk managers and business users to query Sophos threat intelligence in natural language, check whether links and files are associated with known malicious activities, and strengthen cyber awareness within existing productivity tools.
As part of the collaboration, Sophos Intelix will also integrate with Microsoft’s growing Copilot and agent ecosystem, through the use of Entra-based identity management capabilities.
Sophos Chief Scientific Research Officer Simon Reed said the Microsoft Copilot ecosystem is transforming how people interact with technology.
“The future of SOC productivity is moving beyond the graphical user interfaces we’ve relied on since the 1980s, toward a new paradigm of human–AI collaboration. AI assistants powered by expansive datasets, deep threat intelligence and advanced systems are fundamentally reshaping how analysts work,” he said. “By making Sophos threat intelligence available through both Microsoft Security Copilot and Microsoft 365 Copilot, we’re giving defenders faster, more natural access to insights that help them respond to threats with speed, precision and confidence.”
