Brennan IT SecureView real-time network security

Arbor Networks and Brennan IT have partnered to deliver the SecureView service that can be used to enhance security on private IP networks.

The service provides an insight into data flow over a network through its network behavioural analysis (NBA). Organisations can better manage peak network traffic flow as well as identify and relieve the causes of poor network performance, whether due to data leakage or security threats. Real-time risk assessment and flexible ID tracking allows users to stop these threats before they take hold.

Network managers can track and manage trends as they happen to optimise network efficiency and boost cost savings and productivity. SecureView also offers control over user access and can help identify insider misuse.

Users can see the types of data coming in and going out in real time, which is said to allow them to spot anything out of the ordinary, including malware or other types of attack - useful in cloud computing as it gives an extra layer of security.

SecureView also offers protection against internal network and data centre threats, such as distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, botnet armies, viruses and phishing solicitations, including those introduced by mobile devices on the network, often more vulnerable than other types of hardware.
