Logicalis Virtual Workspace offers Citrix/Cisco solution to BYOD

Monday, 30 April, 2012

Logicalis Virtual Workspace (LVW) combines Cisco and Citrix desktop and application virtualisation, voice and video technology via a virtual environment combined with mobile device management. It addresses the security, storage, cost and productivity concerns around bring your own device (BYOD) computing and mobile workforces.

The solution combines the architectural benefits of data centre, borderless network and collaboration solutions from Cisco with Citrix XenDesktop, XenApp, NetScaler, MobileIron Device Management and AppSense User Virtualisation to address the evolving workplace landscape of heterogeneous endpoint devices, mobile workers, geographically dispersed resources, Windows 7 migration and data leakage and loss prevention.

LVW helps IT to manage the corporate network by addressing the impact of BYOD on the network, data centre, collaboration and policy.

Benefits include cost savings; improved productivity enabled by workshifting; and increased collaboration between employees, partners and customers.

It is available as an integrated, end-to-end solution of all vendor products and technologies or as modular layers that can be deployed in any combination to create a custom solution. It is also available as a managed service.
