Newly formed IT powerhouse Oracle Sun has signed up for the final platinum sponsorship spot at the second annual Storage Decisions Australia conference, to be held at the new Melbourne Convention Centre on 12 May.

Oracle Sun joins other major storage players IBM, Dell and EMC at the event, which will feature keynote presentations from international backup guru W Curtis Preston and a special presentation on cloud storage from Amazon Web Services technology evangelist Simone Brunozzi. Preston’s new Advanced Backup School will run during the day, alongside the SNIA ANZ Storage Academy.

“This is the premier IT storage event in Australia and we are very pleased that these leading vendors will showcase their latest products and solutions to the targeted list of storage professionals that will attend the event,” commented Geoff Hird, TechTarget ANZ Publisher and event organiser.

Registration is now open for the event at www.StorageDecisions.com.au and there are a limited number of sponsorship spaces remaining.
