Fourth-generation LTO half-height tape drives
Tandberg Data has introduced fourth-generation LTO half-height tape drives for the StorageLibrary T24, T40+ and T80+.
The LTO-4 half-height tape drive provides a native capacity of 800 GB (1.6 TB compressed) and native transfer speeds of 120 MBps (240 MBps compressed).
By installing two half-height drives, users can double their backup speed. The LTO-4 HH drive is available with either SCSI or SAS connectivity.
The drives double performance over previous generations and extend the life of the StorageLibrary product family.
