Canon imagePROGRAF Large Format Printer

The Canon imagePROGRAF PRO Series of large-format printers offer well-developed natural photographic prints, with each model tailored to meet particular size, quality and productivity requirements. The range includes the PRO-2000, -4000, -4000S and -6000S models.

The PRO-2000 (24″) and -4000 (44″) models offer good print quality for the professional photographic and fine art markets with the 11-colour (pigment) ink system plus Chroma Optimiser (which improves print performance on gloss paper), designed to reproduce the full clarity and texture of the Canon EOS camera. These models also include Canon’s Crystal-fidelity concept, which reads input data from these cameras in a new way to deliver a high levels of print accuracy.

The PRO-4000S (44″) and -6000S (60″) by comparison provide fast, poster-quality printing for commercial applications. These eight-colour models are powered by a L-COA PRO engine, which can process large volumes of high-resolution images and data, while the Multifunction Roll System allows users to load two media rolls at the same time. This also allows long print jobs to be completed virtually unattended by converting the second roll unit into a take-up unit.

The printers also include built-in notification systems which allow users to remotely monitor usage and status to ensure machine uptime is maximised. Print Studio Pro, a plug-in for Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe Photoshop Elements2 and Canon Digital Photo Professional are included as standard.
