The bizhub PRO 1100 monochrome printer/copier from Konica Minolta has been designed to fill the demand for high volume output printed in quality black and white for businesses.

With additional functions, a fast turnaround time, integrated dual-side high-speed colour scanning at 180 opm and a flexible OpenAPI interface, which allows developers to create applications that communicate with the product, the monochrome printer/copier helps to handle the frequently changing on-demand jobs of internal and external print facilities. It offers maximum productivity with minimal user intervention, with expected average volumes of between 150,000 and 300,000 prints, peaking at up to 2.2 million prints per month.

The device runs at speeds of up to 100 ppm. The availability of the tandem printing functionality, allowing two PRO 1100 systems to be combined, doubles output speeds for big print jobs on tight deadlines.

It is built on the same engine platform of the bizhub PRESS 1250e engine. It features Konica Minolta’s Simitri HD polymerised toner, which uses smaller and more consistently shaped particles to reproduce fine details with greater precision. Other features include: resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi; screening technology; and customised tone curve adjustments.
