Panasonic FZ-F1 and FZ-N1 rugged tablets

Panasonic has introduced its smallest Toughpad devices to date with the 4.7″ FZ-F1 (Windows) and FZ-N1 (Android) handheld tablets.

The tablets are designed for postal and courier workers, warehouse, retail, manufacturing, field services and the emergency services. They come with a quad-core processor, an angled rear-facing barcode reader and a 3200 mAh Li-ion standard battery pack or optional 6200 mAh long-life battery back with warm swap capabilities. The products also feature Windows 10 IoT Mobile Enterprise and come with IP65 (high-pressure jet spray) and IP67 (submersible up to 1 m for 30 min) ratings.

The products contain both voice and data capabilities and a 4.7″ HD capacitive multitouch display, suitable for use in bright sunlight, the rain and by users wearing gloves. The products can also be used with the optional passive or active pen and are equipped with both 4G LTE/3G data and voice communications.
