Rugged notebooks

The CF19 Mk2 and CF30 Mk2 Toughbooks are notebooks designed for use in extreme conditions.

The notebooks are each powered by an Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo processor and feature an 80 GB SATA hard drive. They ship with 1 GB of RAM as standard, which can be expanded to 4 GB.

WLAN functionality using the IEEE 802.11 a/b/g standards supports wireless data transfer at speeds of up to 54 Mbps. A 3G HSDPA module can be fitted as an optional extra.

Both notebooks feature Bluetooth connectivity, multiple USB ports as well as a PC card, Express Card and SD/SDHC Card slot. The USB ports can withstand up to 30,000 plugging and unplugging operations.

The notebooks are certified to Military standards MIL-STD-810F, MIL-STD-461E and are IP54 rated.

Other options available include GPS, fingerprint reader and smart card reader.
