Delinea teams with Microsoft on permissions management
Authorisation technology provider Delinea has been selected to provide the preferred replacement for the Microsoft Entra Permissions Management platform ahead of its retirement in October. The company’s partnership with Microsoft will help ensure existing customers of the Microsoft platform have continued access to advanced Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management capabilities.
Delinea’s Privilege Control for Cloud Entitlements will enable enterprises to discover and secure human and machine learning identities across Microsoft Azure, as well as AWS and GCP environments.
Under the partnership, both Delinea and Microsoft will guide businesses through the process of switching platforms and discovering the full capabilities of the Delinea solution.
Delinea CEO Art Gilliland said the platform will help address an important emerging security requirement.
“The introduction of AI has led to an explosion of human and machine identities at a time when public cloud environments are growing increasingly complex,” he said. “Microsoft and Delinea share a deep, trusted relationship focused on protecting customers and securing their identities. As Microsoft’s partner for cloud entitlement security, together we are ensuring a seamless transition and continued access to cutting-edge identity security, reinforcing the trust Microsoft has placed in Delinea to support its customers.”
Microsoft VP of Product Management Joseph Dadzie added that the solution will offer “a scalable, innovative approach to identity security for public, multi-cloud environments, and represents an effective successor for customers of Microsoft Entra Permissions Management”.
