Dynatrace expands integrations with top cloud platforms
AI-powered observability platform provider Dynatrace has announced expanded cloud-native integrations across AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
The expanded integrations will bring added visibility across the major cloud environments into a single unified view, with the aim of helping teams find and fix issues faster while reducing risks to the end-user experience.
The integrations take advantage of the Grail unified data lakehouse, as well as the Dynatrace Smartscape real-time dependency graph and Dynatrace Intelligence solution. They offer expanded telemetry and metadata to improve insight into the services and help IT teams understand the health and behaviour of cloud-native environments.
Dynatrace has developed ready-made health indicators, warning signals and customisable alerts for the cloud platforms, while built-in automation aims to resolve issues as they occur.
Dynatrace SVP of partners and alliances Jay Snyder said as cloud adoption expands, the task of keeping applications reliable has become significantly more complex.
“Teams are expected to deliver great performance, control costs, and maintain resilience across multiple cloud platforms at the same time,” he said. “By expanding our cloud automation capabilities across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, Dynatrace not only makes it easier for platform teams to see what’s happening across their environments, but also to prevent issues automatically, before they have an impact on customers.”
AWS Managing Director of Technology Partnerships Chris Grusz added that the collaboration builds on a longstanding partnership between the two companies.
“As customer workloads grow in scale and complexity, teams need visibility and tools to identify and resolve issues quickly before they impact the business,” he said. “These expanded integrations help our joint customers operate more efficiently and confidently at scale.”
