Google Cloud forms alliance with C3 AI
Google Cloud has announced a global partnership with artificial intelligence software developer C3 AI to accelerate the adoption of AI in the enterprise.
Under the agreement, C3 AI and Google Cloud will co-sell the software company’s AI applications running over Google Cloud to enterprises in multiple verticals.
C3 AI has made its entire portfolio of AI applications — including those tailored to specific industries — available on the Google Cloud platform.
The product line includes solutions designed for the manufacturing, supply chain and logistics, financial services, healthcare and telecom industries.
Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian said both partners share a vision of using AI to help businesses address real-world challenges and opportunities.
“We believe that by delivering C3 AI’s applications on Google Cloud, and by partnering to address specific industry use cases with AI, we can help customers benefit more quickly and at greater scale,” he said.
IDC Group VP of AI and Automation Research Ritu Jyoti added that the partnership is expected to contribute to the adoption of AI in multiple markets.
“Organisations across industries are accelerating their digital transformations with cloud-based solutions, purpose-built to deliver specific business outcomes,” Jyoti said.
“This new partnership between C3 AI and Google Cloud represents an acceleration of this trend, as the two companies partner to expand the application of AI-powered solutions in the enterprise.”
