Sydney FC extends partnership with GoTo

GoTo has extended its official partnership with Sydney FC and increased its commitment to the Sky Blues.

The company has been in partnership with Sydney FC’s Isuzu-UTE A-League team since the middle of last season. Sydney FC needed to improve its customer support solutions to overcome the many challenges brought on by the pandemic. As the club outgrew its legacy communications solution, the organisation implemented GoTo, improving both customer experience and customer engagement through its GoTo Connect and GoTo Contact Centre solutions.

GoTo provided a reliable and flexible business communications platform as Sydney FC transitioned out of its old stadium, ensuring the club can effectively manage its call centre to support its membership base and club partners regardless of their location of operation. GoTo’s solution was deployed with ease, allowing Sydney FC to quickly realise a return on its investment. By unifying multiple channels of communications such as phone, web chat and social into one GoTo application, Sydney FC was able to optimise customer engagement digitally, with deeper analytics and real-time insights that helped them improve customer service.

Sydney FC Chief Executive Officer Adam Santo is excited to continue the partnership, which will aid the Sky Blues in its major projects.

“GoTo have been an incredible partner so far and its portfolio of IT tools have provided our club with the perfect platform for our growth over the past six months,” he said.

“We have a huge few months ahead with our move to the new Allianz Stadium and to our fantastic Sky Park Elite Training Facility so this GoTo partnership extension is more important than ever.

“I’m looking forward to moving ahead together as we have done successfully during the past six months.”

GoTo Vice President and General Manager of APAC Lindsay Brown said he was delighted to be investing more and extending GoTo’s commitment to Sydney FC, particularly with the Liberty A-League Women’s team.

“Our partnership has been hugely beneficial to both parties, and it was an easy decision to extend. Our work in revitalising Sydney FC’s customer support and collaboration has been well received by Sydney FC staff and members, and we look forward to our solutions supporting the Sky Blues’ transition to its new stadium.

“As our solutions continue to evolve to support businesses, we will further enhance Sydney FC’s productivity, streamlining its processes and keeping the club connected to its members.

“I’m sure it will be an equally successful season ahead for both squads, and we’re excited to kick more goals together,” Brown said.
